About Us :

There's a lot of talent in stone.

Terry Smith, local Artist/Graphic Designer, opened a Gallery next door. This was extremely help full to the art community and had an excellent review featured in The Sentinel.

It was only ever going to be a short term venture but highlighted the wealth of local talent.

Sadly it also showed that such a venture could not, commercially, be self sufficient.
Terry joined us at the IT Collective, we had witnessed the interest in the gallery. So we developed the idea of an online gallery. Thus forming the Art Collective.

This is a web space for artists, to Display and sell their work at no cost.

It also enables the general public to view and purchase the work displayed.

Each Artist has their own space, with a short description of themselves should they wish and images will be displayed on their own page within the Art Collective site.

Being a business in stone this will of course mainly features local artists.
We have suggested that the local council could, provide a space every 2 or 3 months for a period of 1-2 weeks during special council sponsored events. To display local artists listed by the Art Collective.

We are confident in our abilities to collaborately build an interesting and powerful display of work.

We have the contacts to publicise, and the skills to organise such an exhibition and would freely assign a member of staff to watch over the exhibition.
